The primary aim of the organisation is to "promotion and diffusion of scientific and traditional knowledge through people's initiatives for Sustainable Development to improve the quality of humankind."
In order to achieve the above
aim, objectives of the organisation shall be as below:
- Organize and Promote self-reliant bodies at village
level and assists them in the preparation and implementation
of Natural and Local Resources Management plan, keeping
in view of the gender issues.
- Promote and strengthen the traditional skill knowledge
for sustainable land use, management of the local resources
and preservation of the culture.
- Assist farmers to get remunerative price for their
agricultural.
- Make people aware about health, education
and other services which are required for the fulfillment
of objectives of the organisation.
- Collect and compile relevant data and statistics necessary
for the efficient management on the natural resources.
- Facilitate the process of the village level institution
development as per people's need and requirements &
Stimulate the Human Resources Development Programs.
- Co-ordination and liaisons with Central Government,
State Government, NGO at local, National and International
level for training, funding and sharing of the experiences.
- Develop and extend expertise in developing of rural
media within the organisation and for other organizations.
