The objective is to produce easy-to-use, up-to-date, accurate
and reliable orthophoto mapping for the State of Gujarat at
cartographic scales and image resolutions suitable for asset
inventories, resource management, environmental monitoring,
infrastructure and landuse planning; building, facilities
and property cadastres; and capacity building through participatory
programs for sustainable development of watersheds. The orthoimage
“photomaps” will be produced as high resolution
seamless digital imagery in a range of common formats used
by computers with CD-DVD drives. The photomaps will be provided
in CD-DVD with viewing and printing software.
